At the Vein Institute of NJ at The Cardiovascular Care Group, exceptional patient care isn’t achieved by any one individual, it is the result of a coordinated team effort. Among the most integral members of that team are our Physician Assistants (PAs). They are the connection point between patients, physicians, and hospital systems, ensuring that our commitment to excellence is carried through every stage of care.
The Backbone of Collaborative Care
When managing vascular disease, timely diagnosis, consistent monitoring, and personalized treatment are essential. Our Physician Assistants are the backbone of this process. They see patients in the office and hospital settings, perform detailed assessments, assist in procedures, coordinate treatment plans, and follow up to ensure continuity of care all while keeping the patient, family and other members of the care team informed of the care plan as it evolves.
What makes their role so vital is their ability to bridge the gap. They collaborate closely with our board-certified vascular surgeons while also building strong, trusting relationships with patients. Their presence ensures that every individual is heard, understood, and cared for, whether they’re managing a chronic condition, recovering from surgery, or undergoing a vascular diagnostic procedure.
Enhancing Quality Across the System
PAs bring a level of continuity and responsiveness that enhances every aspect of our practice. They are often the first to see patients in the hospital, the consistent face during follow-up care, and the reassuring voice that helps translate complex medical information into understandable guidance.
At the Vein Institute of NJ at The Cardiovascular Care Group, our PAs support the hospitals where we serve—including Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center , Clara Maass Medical Center, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway, Trinitas Regional Medical Center, Morristown Medical Center , Overlook Medical Center and Hackensack University Hospital at Mountainside— working seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth transitions of care. This collaborative model improves efficiency, reduces readmissions, and ultimately leads to better outcomes for our patients.
Compassion, Consistency, and Connection
Beyond their clinical expertise, our Physician Assistants exemplify compassion and professionalism. They take time to listen, educate, and empower patients to take an active role in their vascular health. Whether in our offices or at partner hospitals, their work reflects the values we hold at TCVCG—quality, empathy, and commitment to patient-centered care.
